Expressive ring with an embossed demon set in an edgy frame inspired by vintage mexican bikerrings. Available with genuine garnet gemstones and hand engraved sides with “beat the devil“ or plain.

In Europe at the end of the 16th century, grotesque heads of demons or fabulous creatures made of stone or wood were attached to doors in order to ward off the evil. The demon head was also considered as a symbol of luck and was attached to armor. It was believed that with the display of the head the warrior had power over the soul and spirit of the enemy.

The embossing form was hand engraved in 1905 in Pforzheim, Germany. The ring is handcrafted from solid 925 Sterling Silver.
