Hand engraved windproof lighter with a parrot sitting on a SURF lettering on one side and with Stella Maris and the island St. Marten on the other side. Stella Maris is an ancient title for the Virgin Mary. She is the patron saint of the sailors, symbolizing the salvation of the star, which directs the navigator, as well as the star which directs the individual soul on the "sea of life". Vintage style patina.

This talisman lighter protects all souls on the "sea of life".

The embossing form was hand engraved in 1905 in Pforzheim, Germany.

The lighter comes with an insert which has to be filled by you with lighter fuel. We also offer an additional single jet flame insert for an odourless flame - this has to be filled by you with butane gas.
